Your understanding of the role of a Keeper is vital to our community. As we reinvent the use of spaces and time, it is important that it is clear what is expected of you. With this, you will be able to provide the right space for everyone who needs it. For better experiences, we need to ensure that you;
You will be notified via platform and email once someone is interested to reserve your space. Take note that there might be requests that require a quick response. A general guideline is for keepers to respond to reservation requests within 24 hours.
A Leever will only be able to message you once you accept a reservation request. Being able to respond to their inquiries about your space shows that you’re an attentive and considerate keeper, which will be indicated by your response rate.
No one wants their requests to be rejected, but we give each Keeper the freedom to accept a reservation that suits the space, schedule visits, and proceed with any booking you prefer.
Step to accept Reservation Requests
* For requests that you will reject, it is important for us to know the reason why you are rejecting the reservation request, so please provide this in the dropdown list and details.
Setting the right expectation is one of the factors in building trust and a great Leeving experience for you and your Leever. By providing clear description and rules of your space it will help the Leever to decide whether your space is the perfect space that he/she is looking for. Like other businesses, where a client requires to have a visibility of the service or the product that they are buying, a Leever has the liberty to request to View your space and give an insight to it. Don’t worry because you are still in control of the schedule.
During the viewing of your space, move in, and visits of your space, it is expected to be clean and tidy. For those who listed a shared space, make sure you give enough time to arrange your personal and household items.
Clean and tidy spare room with storage boxes
As soon as the Leever accepts the space and its condition, he/she may decide to proceed with the Booking. You will be notified via email, after which you can read and agree on the contract. As a digital platform, contracts are considered signed upon clicking the agreed button. The contract will also be accessible in the platform after signing.
Note: Leever will not be able to proceed to payment if you haven’t agreed to the contract yet.
Inventory check by Keeper and Leever
As a Keeper you are responsible to verify the items to be under your care. This is for your protection and to ensure that the Insurance coverage will be in effect. The listed items should be consistent with what is declared in the Inventory list on the platform.
As a rule, the Leever should bring the items to your space in such that it can be inspected. In case that there are items that you think should not be stored, you can ask the Leever to take it away and delete it from the Inventory List. That’s why it is important that prior move in date you are able to review the Inventory List already, so the Leever can adjust accordingly.
Leevers are keen to know they can expect a consistent level of quality and service from their Keepers. At the end of each contract, a Leever will review their experience with you as well as your space, which is one of the ways we evaluate you as a Keeper. Your overall rating is your average review score of all Leevers who used your space. As a Keeper, you’ll have an opportunity to rate your Leevers as well. Your review helps us and Keepers and Leevers to ensure that our community is trustworthy and safe. We hope to have informed you more about your role as a a Keeper in our community.
